RSX Olympic Windsurfing Class

The Eastern Windsurfing Club (EWC) have announced the room rates for the RS:X Youth World Championship to be staged in Pattaya, Thailand from December 6th to 14th.

The event will immediately follow the 2008 RS:X Asian Championship which also be staged in Pattaya from November 28th - December 5th. Competitors will thus be able to compete in two consecutive events thus maximising the return on their investment in their travel costs.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION (Cholchan Pattaya Resort)

The RS:X Youth World Championship will be based on the Cholchan Pattaya Resort and the special room rates are as follows:

A. Two people in one room including American style buffet breakfast only will cost €uro 21 per person per night (Single occupancy €uro 42)

B. One Person in a room including American style buffet breakfast and lunch will cost €uro 48 per night

C. Two people in one room including American style buffet breakfast and lunch will cost €uro 28 per night per person

To guarrantee that you get these room rates please book through EWC only. The deadline is September 30th 2008.

TRANSFERS

Transfers from Bangkok to Pattaya which takes approx 2 hours each way will cost €uro 28 per person and €uro 28 per set of equipment. These are each way costs.

FLIGHTS

The EWC is doing its best to negotiate special ticket costs with Thai International.

However a quick check on the internet shows a Royal Jordainian Airways flight leaving London on November 22nd and returning on December 14th costs £408.00 return. The average being in the low £500s using Gulf Air, Quatar Airways and Aeroflot.
