Day 4 of the Rolex Miami OCR was a hurry up and wait kind of day
for everybody. The Finns got a race in. The 470s were shortened
in a dying breeze of 3-4 knots.
The RS:X windsurfing fleets waited for 4 hours on the water as new
America's Cup PRO, John Craig, did his best to get racing started.
Finally, he sent the RS:X Men and Women ashore to wait some more.
It was a tough day for everyone. No doubt the light air specialists were pushing the Race Committee to make a start but John is not the kind of guy you can beat up on and expect to win. Would he be the top race officer in the America's Cup if you could?
