The 2013 RS:X World Windsurfing Championships is being rescheduled to allow athletes to take part in the Miami OCR and possibly the Brazilian National trials in Guanabara Bay, Rio de Janeiro which takes place  just after the Carnaval week ( 18th February to 24th February ).
